AMARA NEWS

Two of the most popular ethnic comic book publishers/animators announce the release of their graphic novel Crimson Seed. Featuring two of the most popular heroes from the 90's Captain Africa and Purge, this novel is expected to revolutionize the comic and graphic novel industry.

"It's been nearly eleven plus years since these characters have appeared in print" says Roosevelt Pitt, Jr., publisher of AMARA Entertainment "For them to come back together at this time to stop a threat to both their cities and to human existence as we know it, is powerful."

"Both heroes having been updated with new costumes, weaponry and futuristic gadgets will have a strong impact on readers" says Mshindo Kuumba of Mshindo I Creations who is responsible for the heroes new look and illustrating the epic.

A full color graphic novel, Crimson Seed brings to life a story of love, a tale of survival and the birth of an immortal. Explosive with vivid imagery from Mshindo Kuumba and a captivating script by Captain Africa creator Hunter Wolf (aka Dwayne Ferguson, the creator of Hamster Vice), this is certain to be a milestone in comic book history. One not to be missed.
"I'm very excited to be working with such talented creators on this project," Hunter Wolf of Diehard Studio explains. "It's not often stories about strong ethnic characters are told. We're constantly given drivel dealing with urban nonsense and gang/hip hop this and that. We have powerfully positive stories to tell to an audience eager for something more than the usual buffoonish comedy and gansta crap that's out there."

Set in the futuristic cities of Egyptica and New Salem, Crimson Seed introduces for the first time a new art style developed by AMARA Entertainment and Mshindo I Creations, Maatuka. "Maatuka means-to set free" Roosevelt explains. "But actually its an art form combining African history and culture using an epic cinema approach."

Look for this graphic novel to be packed full of visuals that will enlighten the senses by utilizing lush but impact tones of color while introducing Kemetic influences never before seen.

Release date is slated for 2007.
